Asus introduces the new B51E, a rugged notebook PC with “excellent performance and reliability”. Asus B51E is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo T8300/ T8100/T5850/T5750 CPU, max 4GB of RAM, Intel’s integrated GMA X3100 graphic and up to 320GB hard drive. Dell E Mini Laptop in August

Dell is planning to release it low-price mini laptop, the E series in August, according to DigiTimes. Dell’s E will have a lower price than its competitors. It is priced at $299, which is $100 lower than that of Acer Aspire One.

Fujitsu LifeBook T1010 Centrino 2

Fujitsu offers also the T1010 tablet PC that is also based on Centrino 2. The T1010 is similar to T5010.

LifeBook T1010 is also powered by a Core 2 Duo processor, and has all the features of the T5010, such as 13.3-inch touchscreen, DVD SuperMulti burner, WiFi, Bluetooth and 1.3 megapixel camera.

What T1010 is missing is the Fingerprint reader that offer advanced security. The LifeBook T1010, thus, is cheaper. The price starts from US $1299

Other than Centrino 2 tablet PCs, Fujitsu presents also the LifeBook E8420 desktop replacement notebook. Fujitsu LifeBook E8420 can be equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400(2.26GHz), P8600(2.4GHz) or T9400 (2.5GHz) CPU, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 320GB of hard drive and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 integrated graphics or dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS graphic card.

The LifeBook E8420 notebook will also have a DVD supermulti writer, optional WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and a multiple format card reader. You may also get the optional fingerprint scanner for better security. The price of LifeBook E8420 starts from US $1,359.

Asus F8Va

Asus launches in Korea its F8Va notebook PC bases on the Intel Centrino 2 Montevina technology.
Asus F8Va is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53 T9400 CPU, 4GB of memory and 320GB hard drive. It has the ATI Radeon HD3650 graphic card.

You can also expect a 14-inch 1440×900 LCD screen, a DVD/Blu-ray combo drive, HDMI and a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam. The F8Va features Asus’ Instant-on.

Acer Aspire Gemstone Centrino 2

Along with the announcement of Intel’s Centrino 2, Acer has updated its Aspire Gemstone series to have the Centrino 2 technology.

There are four new Centrino 2 Aspire Gemstones, Aspire 2930, the Aspire 4930, Aspire 5930,and Aspire 7730. They are equipped with Core 2 Duo Penryn CPU, max 4GB memory and choices of graphic cards.

Acer TravelMate 5730 and 7730 Centrino 2

Not only the Gemstone series gets update, Acer has also updated the TravelMate lineup by releasing the new TravelMate 5730 and 7730 Centrino 2 business laptops.

Acer’s TravelMate 5730 comes with Core 2 Duo CPU and up to 2GB of RAM. You can choose from the following for your graphic card:

HP releases its AMD Puma-based dv7z laptop PC. Powered by AMD Athlon X2 or Turion X2 mobile dual core CPU, the dv7z is equipped with 2GB RAM and an ATI Radeon HD 3200 or HD 3450 graphic card. You can also get two 250GB hard drives and a DVD Supermulti burner.
HP Pavilion dv7z comes with also a 17-inch display, support for WiFi 802.11a/g/n and Bluetooth.

HP Compaq 2730p Centrino 2

According to Aving, HP will also launch the Compaq 2730p tablet PC that is Centrino 2 based. The HP Compaq 2730p features an Intel Core 2 Duo L9400 low voltage CPU running at 1.86GHz clock speed, 2GB of RAM, the integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics and a 120GB hard drive.

It has a 12.-inch touchscreen and built-in webcam. WiFi connectivity should be available.

Panasonic Toughbook CF-74 Centrino 2

Panasonic introduces the upgraded Toughbook CF-74 that gets the Centrino 2 treatment. The new semi-rugged CF-74 get the latest Centrino 2 processor, a 160GB hard drive, and WiFi 802.11n wireless connectivity.

Toughbook 74 comes with a 13.3-inch display, SD card slot and optical drive. Consumers may customize the laptop by adding the optional Bluetooth, EV-DO support, HSDPA support, and fingerprint scanner.

The CF-74 starts at street price of $3,199.

Panasonic ToughBook CF-52 Centrino 2

Panasonic is also launching the new ToughBook CF-52. Like the CF-74, the CF-52 gets Centrino 2 technology, offering 160GB hard drive and WiFi 802.11 draft-n connectivity.

The ToughBook 52 is a semi-rugged notebook that is water-resistant and passes 76cm drop-down test. It get an Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4Ghz CPU, 1GB or 2GB of memory, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 graphics, a DVD writer, Bluetooth, SD card slot and a 15.4-inch LCD display.

The CF-52 will comes in two configurations, value version has a estimated street price of $1,949 while the premium version for improved video and system performance has estimated street price of $2,849.

Epson Endeavor NJ5200Pro

This is Epson’s Centrino 2 notebook PC, the Endeavor NJ5200Pro for the Japan market. The Endeavor NJ5200Pro features an Core 2 Duo processor running at a clock speed from 2.26GHz to 2.8GHz, a 512MB Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTX or 256MB 9600M GT graphic card.

There is a 80 - 320GB hard drive for storage. You can get also a 15.4-inch 1920×1200 LCD display, a DVD writer, support for WiFi and HDMI.

Gigabyte M912

This is Gigabyte’s upcoming M912 mini tablet, which will come in three versions, the M912V, M912X and M912M.
The M912 line is equipped with Intel’s Atom CPU running at 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. M912V (US $655) will have a 8.9-inch 1280×768 touchscreen, and support for WiFi and Bluetooth. It runs Windows Vista.
The M912X (US $622), like the M912V, has a 8.9-inch display, WiFi and Bluetooth, but it runs Windows XP.
Lastly, the M912M (US $556) is the less advanced model with a 8.9-inch 1024×600 LCD touchscreen display and supports WiFi (only).

Toshiba Tecra M10 Centrino 2

Toshiba presents the new Tecra M10, a Centrino 2-based business laptop. The M10 get Intel’s latest Centrino 2 technology with vPro. It will come with a 14.1-inch LCD display and optional 64GB or 128GB SSD.

The M10 will also feature Toshiba’s fourth-generation EasyGuard technology. It will be available in August and the price starts from $1,399.

Toshiba Tecra A10 Centrino 2

Toshiba is also launching the A10, which is also based on Intel’s Centrino 2 technology. Like the M10, the A10 will get the vPro technology. It has a 15.4-inch LCD display and the new EasyGuard technology.

The laptop will offer also a DVD supermulti burner and the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 150M graphics chipset with 256M.

Gigabyte M912

Here is a unbox video of the Gigabyte M912 mini tablet from UMPCPortal. The M912 is a mini tablet with a 8.9-inch touchscreen. It is equipped with a Atom processor, 1GB of RAM.

Gateway M-2408j and M-2410j

Gateway releases its M-2408j and M-2410j laptop PCs for Japan market. Both laptops are equipped with the AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-60 1.9GHz CPU, 15.4-inch 1280×800 LCD screen, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and support for WiFi connectivity.

The Gateway M-2408j has 2GB of memory and a 250GB HDD and the M-2410j comes with 3GB RAM and a 320GB hard drive.
Both laptops have also HDMI output and a 5-in-1 card reader.

Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pi 3540

This is Fujitsu-Siemens’ Amilo Pi 3540 laptop PC that is based on Intel’s Centrino 2 technology. Powered by the Intel’s Centrino 2 processor, the Amilo Pi 3540 comes with 4GB of RAM, and nVidia’s GeForce 9300M GS graphics.

You can also expect a 15.4-inch LCD screen, support for WiFi and e-SATA, and a 15-in-1 multi card reader. To be launched in August, the Fujitsu Amilo Pi 3540 will be priced at about GBP 699.

Toshiba Satellite Pro S300 Centrino 2

Toshiba presents the Satellite Pro S300, which is a business laptop based on the Centrino 2 platform. Powered by Core 2 Duo P8600 CPU, the Satellite Pro S300 has 3GB of memory, and the integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphic card.

There are also a 15.4-inch 1280×800 LCD widescreen display, DVD SuperMulti writer, built-in webcam and mic, support for WiFi a/g/n, Bluetooth and a card reader.

It has a 160GB hard drive.The price of S300 starts from $1249.

Elonex OneT

Elonex One T is the succssor of the Elonex One, the 100 British pounds laptop. The new Elonex OneT Mini cost more than GBP 100, pricing at GBP 129.
It features a LNX Code 8 400MHz CPU and 1GB SSD. You can also find a 7-inch 800×480 LCD screen, support for WiFi and a SD card slot.
If 1GB SSD is not enough for you, you can get the OneT+, which as 2GB of SSD.

Dell Studio 15 Laptop

Samsung NP-Q45 H100 laptop PC that comes with HSDPA support. The Samsung NP-Q45 H100 is equipped with a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 250GB hard drive and built-in GMA X3100 graphics.

Lenovo ThinkPad SL400

NotebookReview posted a review on the Lenovo ThinkPad SL400 laptop PC. The SL400 being tested is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz CPU, 2GB (max 4GB) of RAM, a nVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS 256MB graphic card and 160GB hard drive.
The ThinkPad SL400 comes with also a Dual layer DVD writer and support for 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth.

WiBrain I1 UMPC

This is WiBrain’s upcoming i1 UMPC that offers 3.5H HDSPA connectivity. The i1 features the Atom CPU running at 1.1GHz or 1.3GHz clock speed, and a 30GB or 60GB Solid State Drive (SSD). Based on a slightly modified design of B1, the i1 comes with QWERTY keypad and a touchpad.
It offers also a SD card slot.

Asus R50A UMPC

Here is another UMPC with 3G connectivity, the Asus R50A. Asus R50A get an Intel 1.33GHz Silverthorne Z520 CPU and 1GB of memory. It comes with a 8GB/16GB/32GB SSD drive.

Other features include 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. As the title mentioned, the R50A is coming with support for GPS navigation, 3G and the optional DVB-T digital TV reception. You can get also a 2 megapixel camera.

The Asus R50A has hit FCC, so it should be launched soon.

Samsung Q1UP-V Vista UMPC

Samsung introduces the new Q1 UMPC, named as Q1UP-V. The V stands for Vista as it runs the Windows Vista Business OS. Samsung Q1UP-V is powered by an Intel Pentium ULV U1500 CPU and 2GB of DDR2 RAM. It has the Intel GMS945 integrated graphic and 80GB 1.8-inch hard drive.
The Q1UP-V has a 7-inch 1024 x 600 LCD display, WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth connectivity. It offers a Split-QWERTY keypad. The built-in high-capacity Li-Ion battery offers up to 7 hours of operation.

Samsung Q1U-CMXP HSDPA UMPC

Another new Q1 from Samsung is the Q1U-CMXP that comes with HSDPA support. Samsung Q1U-CMXP features an Intel A110 800MHz processor, 1GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and a 1.3 Megapixel camera.

It has the integrated HSDPA 3G cellular modem supporting the AT&T Broadband Connect network. The Q1U-CMXP runs Windows XP. It is priced at $1,499.
