Toshiba introduces in Japan its new dynabook SS RX2 series replacing the old SS RX1. The dynabook SS RX2 is claimed to be the world’s lightest notebook. Based on Intel’s Centrino 2 technology, the dynabook SS RX2 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 1.2GHz processor, up to 3GB of RAM, Intel GS45 Express Chipset.
Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific announced the Fujitsu L1010 laptop PC targeted at Generation Y-ers, tech-savvy young adults. Based on Centrino 2 technology, the L1010 is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor, Intel PM45/GM45 Express Chipset and Intel WiFi Link 5300AGN for wireless connectivity.
Fujitsu L1010 has a unique hinge design such that no obvious hinge joints are revealed when its cover is closed. Fujitsu L1010 comes with built-in 1.3 Megapixel webcam and microphone for Gen Y-ers to keep connected with their friends.
This Gen-Y-oriented laptop is capable of gaming thanks to the NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS video card with 256MB video RAM and the 14.1-inch LCD display. L1010 has HDMI out for transmission of High Definition videos to your LCD TV.
Fujitsu L1010 will be available in several colors. Pricing and availability are not yet announced.
Zepto presents the Hydra A17 gaming notebook PC. Zepto Hydra A17 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Extreme processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTX with 1GB of GDDR3 video RAM.
Gamers can get either a SATA hard drive or SSD for storage. Hydra A17 comes with also a DVD burner or a Blu-ray DVD combo.
Other features include WiFi, built-in speakers and subwoofer, an optional 2 Megapixel webcam, optional Bluetooth, Fingerprint scanner, 7-in-1 card reader and an eSATA port.
The price of Zepto Hydra A17 starts from GBP 1,420.36.
The $349 Linux version of the Inspiron Mini 9 has 4GB of SSD, 512MB of memory and runs Mini OS based on Ubuntu 8.04. Dell offers 2GB of free box.net storage for this model. The $399 version gets 512MB memory, 8GB SSD and Windows XP Home. The most expensive $449 model features 1GB of RAM and 16GB SSD. It runs Windows XP Home.

Dell is preparing the E and E Slim mini laptop lineups. According to Engadget, Dell’s E series will come in 3 models, E Classic, E Video and E Video+. All of them are powered by Intel Diamondville processor, 512MB or 1GB of RAM, up to 16GB of storage. They will have a 8.9-inch LCD display.
E Slim series will instead come with 12.1-inch display. Both series will have support on WiFi, WiMax and Bluetooth connectivity.
In addition to X200, Lenovo is also preparing the ThinkPad SL, T and R series noteboook PCs.

Toshiba Qosmio X305 is the company’s upcoming gaming notebook PC. X305 features an Intel dual core 3GHz CPU, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphic card with 1GB of RAM. It comes with up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, two 200GB hard drive.
You can also see a 17-inch 1680×1050 LCD display, Harmon Kardon speaker system, REGZA link HDMI, built-in webcam. It supports also WiFi connectivity.

MSI will release its Wind U100 mini notebook very soon. MSI’s Wind is the company’s answer to Asus Eee PC. It is equipped with an Intel processor and Intel 945GSE+ICH7M chipset. There are 512MB or 1GB of memory and you may want expand yourself to up to 2GB. It comes with an 80GB hard drive.
The U100 has a 10-inch 1024×600 LCD display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11b/g and a 4-inch-1 card reader.
The ultraportable R500-S5007V comes with a 12.1-inch LED backlit LCD with 1280×800 resolution, DVD 8X SuperMulti burner, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11 a/g/n.

Toshiba is going to launch in Mid-July the Qosmio G50 laptop computer. Qosimo G50 will be powered by Intel’s processor, SpursEngine Quad Core HD processor, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphic card with 512MB RAM and up to 500GB hard drive.
The G50 series will have a 18.4-inch TruBrite widescreen LCD display and you can also find Harman Kardon stereo speakers. Connectivity like WiFi and Bluetooth can also be found.

Acer is going to launch in Hong Kong in July the Aspire One mini laptop. The Aspire One is Acer’s answer to Asus’ Eee PC.
The Acer Aspire One is powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of memory, 8GB of SSD for storage and Intel’s integrated GMA 850 graphic. It will support WiFi. You can also find a 5-in-1 card reader. It comes with also a SIM card slot for 3G cellular connectivity,
The Aspire One runs Linpus Linux Life and has a 8.9-inch 1024×600 CrystalBrite LCD display. The suggested price is $3,488 HKD (about $470 USD).
